Isn't it true when it comes to a girl's point of view !! and of course this is a part of us . 
There are times when we have so many things in front of us and still cant decide what to do ! Especially during a vacation . You dress according to the place don't you ? 

Few weeks back , I travelled for some water around me since I love beaches . Bangalore is close to Goa , Gokarna , Kerela and Tamil Nadu . The roads are perfect for a long drive on a weekend for some peaceful time .  When it comes to beaches , I love to carry some colours with me ! So, here I am with my blog on what I wore for my vacation at a beautiful beach in the west coast .

Well , I hope you like the three styles that I did for my vacation and I bet it was super comfortable for the weather as well . I tried the LUNGI also called as Sarong because I wanted to give a bit of south Indian touch to my attire .

True !! Every time I travel to some place , I do have a story attached to it and for sure a memorable one .  Travelling is something that makes me a happy person . And to be a happy person one should always Travel Light !

So , here we are with my road trip travel essentials .

1. Travel backpack 

I personally find it easy to have a backpack for my travel rather than a handbag . This backpack was from www.jabong.com . I had bought this from the e-commerce site for 720 Rs and I am in love with it . It has compartments inside to keep your mobile phones or something that you need to get hold of easily without struggling . 

2. Travel Pouch 

Every bag of mine always has a pouch with all my travel edition make-up and fragrance which comes handy and takes less space. This pouch is from forever21 . I have already written a blog on what I carry in my pouch . The products are the same . Click on Travel Pouch to see what's inside it . 

3. Sun Tan Lotion 

I always carry a body lotion while travelling because for me its the most essential . 8 hours in day I am under the sun working or travelling , so I tan very easily . This is why I prefer my body lotion also to have a SPF count . The Vaseline Healthy White lotion has been a great companion , with SPF 24  and amazing fragrance.

4. Sanitizers and Tissue 

Initially , I used to carry a lot of wet tissues with the dry ones . Off late I have realized that wet tissues makes my face more dry and sultry. 

Sanitizers are a must where ever you go ! 

5. Munchies

Mints have always been a part of me . I am not a fan of them but I just cant live without it too . Tic Tacs is one of the essentials that you will find in my bag. Otherwise I do carry a lot of chocolates or some potato chips for the trip.

6. Perfume 

I am obsessed with perfumes . Even though I carry a travel size perfume in my pouch , I always have one extra perfume with me . This was a gift from my Aunt and my sister . I love the fragrance . It is not only floral but also musky which is a great combination .

7. Sun Tan Spray

The Neutrogena Sun Screen Body Mist was a fancy buy but I love how it operates . Whenever I go for a beachy vacation , I carry my spray along . Easy to use and very light . It was pretty expensive too for a sunscreen body mist .

8. Travel Pillow 

We all have had our awkward moments when asleep while travelling and then waking up with a neck ache . Tada !! To solve all that I bought myself this travel pillow from The Chumbak Store. Colorful and Useful . Love it !!

9. Chargers and Portable Tech.

It is just impossible to travel without chargers and your portable battery charger while you are away from home and plug points . I wonder how it was when we didn't have these technology and phones to charge . Need to experience that I soon .

10. Lip Care

Moisturising is an essential part of  my travel . I hate it when my lips dry up in air conditioning , therefore I always carry my lip balm and I always carry two . Just in case if I loose one . This one is the strawberry flavoured lip balm from The Body Shop India.

11. Dry Shampoo

Due to different climate , while travelling , my hair always tends to loose its texture .This particular dry shampoo was a great discovery by BBlunt . Its like a saviour for your hair . Rightly said , the hair comes back to life after use .

12. Medicine Utility Pouch 

I had an extremely bad time once while travelling and I wasn't even carrying any medicine nor did the place where I stayed had any . Since then I have made it a point of carrying some of the important medicines , lotion and mosquito sprays while I travel for precaution.

13. Eye Wear

If you follow me on Instagram or know me , you would have got to know I go crazy when it comes to eye wear . I have a eye wear collection strating from 100Rs to 7000Rs . Currently reflectors are my favourite . Again , I always carry two shades in my bag . 

14. Ipod 

Music and Travel are great together . They are like a couple made for each other.

15. Notebook and a Pen

I always carry a notebook and a pen the traditional way . You never when you might need it . Plus I love writing down things rather than feeding it and saving it one my phone .

" The Best Things Come In Small Packages " - My August Favourites

Well ! Well ! Well ! Here I am with my August 2015 Favourites and I am super duper excited !

There are few days , when you feel low and when you see some thing in your wardrobe , or purchase something new , you feel contented . There are days when you are jobless and want to check the stores to see what's new ! I know we are crazy but we are fun for sure :) . Whatever things I own , I do love them with no regrets .

And My August Favourites are -

1. Beige Oxfords 

I got this amazing Beige Oxfords from www.streetstylestore.com . Its an amazing website with great collection of shoes , bags , clothes at very affordable price . The only major issue with this website is its delivery policy and it takes more than a month to deliver the items that one has ordered . I really wish they do something about it .They don't have return policy on few of the products on the website .

This beige shoe goes with everything and anything . Its an essential for every shoe lover . I wear it with Pants,Skirts,Bohemian Kurtas and Dresses . 

2. Forever21 Makeup Bag

I love colours and this adorable make up bag caught my eye . I got this from the Forever21 store in Bangalore at 450Rs approximately . Not very sure with the price. This pouch is pretty spacious and takes in a lot of stuff .

3. Bath & Body Works Scented Candle

I am obsessed with this scented candle that you would have seen in my Malaysia Shopping Haul Blog ( http://thesmalltownblogger.blogspot.in/2015/08/just-let-me-shop-no-one-gets-hurt-what.html ) I just cant get over this fragrance . Its Sexy !! I swear ! You can also see that I am sceptical to use it because I am scared if its gets over I will surely have a broken heart !! And I am actually waiting for someone to travel abroad to get me another pair of this scented candle , only then I would light this one . 

The fragrance is seductive .

4. BBlunt Dry Shampoo and BBlunt Cream for Frizzy Hair

I ride a two wheeler to work in that heat and traffic + pollution and it is very difficult to take care of your hair . I used to have really thick hair and thanks to my work now I have really thin strands of hair left . Its really difficult to shampoo every two days when you are loaded with work . Impossible to pamper your hair . 

In few of the blogs that I follow , I had heard about the dry shampoo and went to Bblunt store to purchase it . There are other brands that make dry shampoo but I personally preferred Bblunt . Its fun using the dry shampoo . There wont be major similarity like how your hair looks after shampoo but does give your hair a smoother and shinier look . I also bought the cream because I realized after riding my bike it got difficult to comb my hair like any other girl . So this cream helped me with that issue as well . Tada !!

5. MAC Ruby Hue Lipstick & Revlon Tease Seductrice Colour Bust Lip Colour

The MAC Rudy Hue was a Birthday Gift by a very dear friend . I had just started applying lip colours so she decided to gift me one of the best lipstick . I love the shade and the look . 

The Revlon Colourbust was what I had bought ages ago . I had bought three shades of it Coral, Red and Pink and still loving it . 

6. ZARA Feminine perfume roll on &  Marks and Spencers Bohemia Travel Edition Perfume

These are my travel editions . I do carry them to work since its handy and doesn't take much space . The Marks and Spencers edition has a floral fragrance where as the ZARA roll on is feminine but musky and a great combination . 

The ZARA roll on is around 399Rs I guess and the Marks and Spencers around 500Rs . ( Not very sure with the price ) 

7. Swatch Watch 

A precious gift from my brother on my birthday ! Can't live without this beautiful watch. 

8. Sling Bag from Hampi

This is a hand-crafted leather sling bag that I got from my recent visit to Hampi (http://thesmalltownblogger.blogspot.in/2015/08/hampi-forgotten-empire_27.html) . 

The man who sold this made this leather bag right in front of us in an hour and more . This was a good deal . We got this bag for 500 Rs only . They had different types of bags , big and small but all of them very beautifully made.

9. Body Shop Vanilla BodyMist & Body Shop Red Musk Body Mist

There are few people who go to the same store and try different things and others who go to the same store and buy the same thing again and again . Well I am a combination of both ! Not only do I buy what's new and lovely but also something that I can't do without . Whenever I am done with my Body Mist from Body Shop I get a refill ;) 

I love the Red Must and The Vanilla Fragrance . Delicious !!

10. PipaBella Accessory

Had bought this adorable pendant from www.pipabella.com few months ago . This is my only Cancerian Zodiac accessory that I own and love it to the core . I am in love with the packaging so after use I keep it the same way it came . Istyle mein rehney ka !!

"Part Of The Secret To Success In Life Is To Eat What You Like and Let The Food Fight It Out Inside" - A Lunch Date with SodaBottleOpenerwala (Bangalore,India)

"Food for The Body is not enough . There must be Food for Soul "

On a bright Wednesday afternoon while working , there were weird food thoughts running through my head ! To tell you the truth I really wanted some breathtaking food for soul . When at work , I only get to eat fried rice , Idli or Dosa ( South Indian Dishes ) , so decided to go to a fancy place to feed my pretty soul .

After an intensive look at all the interesting restaurants that Zomato wanted me to head to , I decided on SodaBottleOpenerWala ! Yayy !! Had heard a lot about this place from my friends but never got a chance to visit this lovely place.

I was just trying out my editing skills with this image. Personally loved the trippy image !

I was a bit too late for lunch time since it was already 3pm working , so I hurried up to head to SodaBottleOpenerWala on Lavelle Road which was closer to my work place . The moment I entered , I was enchanted by the décor of this alluring restaurant . SodaBottleOpenerWala is situated right behing The Bierre Club on Lavelle Road .

So , there are few regulations to be looked upon when you visit this place !

This place had a total old rustic Parsi look which was charming for sure . They had this toy train attached to the ceiling and the train kept running around the loop all the time . Coming back to food story , I was desperately in need of good food . The server got us the fascinating menu card.

We ordered for some drinks to start with . I was curious to see Bhau Ju Nu Thuulu Cocktail on the menu . So I ordered that and my friend ordered for a Bawa Peg .

Well , my drink , Bhauji Nu Thullu came with this sweet cigarette designed mint candy .

For starters , we ordered for The Goan Sausage Pav and Masala Fries with Cheese which was delectable . Everyone should know I am a Potato Freak ! Lol !!

We did not give up here . Especially I needed more food in my tummy . We then head to the main course section , and ordered for some Berry Berry Chicken Pulao delightful . Some people I know dont eat rice without Raita ( Raita is an Indian , Pakistani and Bangladeshi side dish made with curd together with raw or cooked vegetables) but the chicken minced with the rice was semi gravy , which was a really good combination with some fried onions and cashew as toppings . Slurrp !!

Me being me , wont leave a place without having a dessert ! Like they say no matter how much you eat , "there's always space for some dessert" . Chocolate makes me super happy . And I ordered for the Toblerone Mousse . I finished the mousse in 15 seconds to be precise .

Finally , my soul and my mind was in peace .
